Shopian boy ranks 10th in NEET-UG exam

Srinagar: A boy from Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district has bagged 10th rank in the NEET-UG examination, the results of which were declared a day back.

Haziq Parveez Lone has also topped the Union Territory in the NEET-UG test .

Haziq, son of a fruit trader from Trenz village of Shopian secured 710 marks out of 720 in the all-India level test.

The J&K topper said he was hopeful of cracking the exams, but securing the 10th rank was beyond his expectation.

“I couldn’t believe when I came to know that I bagged 10th rank,” he said.

Haziq credited his parents and teachers for his outstanding success. “My success would not have been possible without the efforts of my parents and the teachers,” Haziq said.

He said he faced a lot of difficulties during preparations for NEET.

The topper advised the NEET aspirants to work hard with courage. “There is no other way to climb the ladder of success without hard work,” he said.
