Sule targets Centre and State govt after threat to Raut

Mumbai: NCP leader MP Supriya Sule on Saturday targeted the Central and State governments after Uddhav-faction Shiv Sena leader and member of parliament Sanjay Raut recieved a threat to life call, and requested them to take necessary action in the matter.

In her tweet Ms Sule stated that Sanjay Raut, Member of Parliament and an important leader of Mahavikas Aghadi, has been threatened by a person over the phone. MP Sule has said that if a people’s representative of the country is being threatened in this way, it is a very serious matter.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis have also requested MP Sule to take necessary action in this regard while saying that the Center as well as the Maharashtra government should take serious note of this incident and provide them with the necessary security.
