After 2.5 years of the mysterious death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, a sensational development has been made in the case. It has been claimed by a medical employee, working in Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital, where Sushant’s dead body was taken to for the autopsy, that the Late actor was murdered. Talking to news agency ANI, Roopkumar Shah, who is a mortuary servant at the hospital, said that he had noticed injury marks on Sushant’s body.

He added that after he saw the marks, he believed that this was not a case of suicide, after which he went to his seniors who did not pay much heed and said that the matter would be discussed later. Shah has also stated that he is ready to get his statement recorded with the investigating agencies which are looking into the death case.

Shah said that it was the job of the doctors to prepare the post-mortem report, and that Sushant should get justice. He added that how merely looking at the pictures, anyone can tell that Sushant was murdered, and if the agencies called him, he would go and tell them the same.

Reacting to Roopkumar Shah’s statement, Sushant Singh Rajput’s lawyer, Vikas Singh, said that he does not have any direct information about the injuries on Rajput’s body. He added that he will not be able to make a comment on the issue now because Sushant’s sisters have not told him about it, but he maintained that Sushant’s death was not a simple suicide and there was a conspiracy at play behind his death.

Sushant was found hanging in his flat in Mumbai on 14th June, 2020 under mysterious and questionable circumstances, after which his body was taken to the Cooper hospital for autopsy. Following quite a shoddy investigation into the matter, as a lot of loopholes came to the fore during the same, the Mumbai police had labelled the death as a suicide, and this resulted in a huge public uproar, as the people of the country strongly believe, till this day, that the Kai Po Che actor was murdered in cold blood.

Following the national outrage, the Maharashtra government was forced to hand over the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and other agencies. And even though initially, Rajput’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and his flat mate, Siddharth Pithani, were arrested in relation to the case, they were soon let out on bail, after which the case seemed to have gone into cold storage.

Now, with this corroboration to the belief of millions of Sushant’s fans not only in India but all across the globe, people are filled with new enthusiasm and positivity as far as Sushant getting justice is concerned. People now believe that there is a silver lining and finally, the case will take the right turn it was supposed to take a long time ago. Sushant’s death case was not a simple one as the prayers of millions are attached to the same, and the will of the public to ask for his justice has not shaken a bit even after so long, as daily hashtags related to his death, asking for justice, are still being carried out by his fans, who believe that one day, Sushant’s alleged culprits will be brought to book.
