Telangana CEO denies reports on ECI stalling ration card issuance

Hyderabad: The Chief Electoral Office (CEO) of Telangana C Sudharsan Reddy on Saturday dismissed reports claiming that the Election Commission of India (ECI) had halted the issuance of ration cards through MeeSeva.

In an official statement, the CEO clarified that neither the Civil Supplies Department nor MeeSeva had approached the office regarding any such issue.

“The reports being circulated by certain TV channels are incorrect. We categorically deny these claims and urge media outlets to correct the misinformation,” the statement read.
