Hyderabad: The Chief Electoral Office (CEO) of Telangana C Sudharsan Reddy on Saturday dismissed reports claiming that the Election Commission of India (ECI) had halted the issuance of ration cards through MeeSeva.
Civil Supplies Department and MeeSeva had not approached the office regarding any issue related to ration card issuance.
“Certain TV channels had circulated incorrect reports about ECI stalling ration card issuance through MeeSeva. We categorically deny these claims and urge media outlets to correct the misinformation,” the statement read.
