Theft of rupees one lakh from Golden Temple’s counter by an unidentified person

Amritsar: An unidentified person stole Rs one lakh from the counter of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar on Tuesday.

The SGPC employee said he came to know about it when he did the calculations.

SGPC complaint to the police that the CCTV of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib is being scrutinised.

He said that pilgrims deposit money at this counter for ardaas, and the counter is in front of Dukh Bajni Beri, situated on the premises.
