Tripura CM calls on PM, discusses state issues

New Delhi: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Monday.

During their meeting, Saha discussed a wide range of issues pertaining to the Northeastern state, including health and education.

“Delighted to meet PM Narendra Modi Ji at New Delhi, today. Discussed with the PM about Health, Education, Trade, infrastructure development and present status of various ongoing Central and State government’s schemes,” the CM wrote in a tweet shortly after his meeting with the PM.

Saha said the PM assured all possible assistance from the Centre for state’s development.

“The PM assured about extending the Centre’s necessary assistance for overall development in Tripura,” he said.

The CM said under the dynamic leadership, vision and guidance of the PM, his government is committed to work hard for the people of Tripura.
