Two persons killed, one injured in firing incident in Satara Dist

Kolhapur, Satara: In a shocking incident two persons were killed on the spot while another was seriously injured in a firing incident which took place at Morna village in Patan tehsil in Satara district late this night.

Police detained former corporator of Thane city Madan Kadam as a suspected accused for allegedly firing rounds. In a preliminary information, the incident took place due to a money feud.

As soon as the firing incident took place in the Morna village, Patan police team rushed to the spot and started investigation while the injured person was immediately admitted to the hospital in Karad teshil town of Satara district.

According to police accused Kadam had a feud with deceased on a windmill account deal, he allegedly fired rounds, in which two persons were killed on the spot while another one was seriously injured.

Police is yet to identify deceased and injured persons, Patan police informed.
