Union Minister gives away appointment orders to 24 in different paramilitary forces

Gangtok: Altogether three women and 21 men, all Sikkimese, have been given the appointment letters of job in different paramilitary forces, official sources said here on Wednesday.

The appointment letter giving ceremony, hosted by Indo-Tibetan Border Security Force at its sectoral headquarters here, was graced by Union Minister of State for Education Subhash Sarkar, who presented the letter of job to the newly passed out recruits.

Distributing the job orders the minister also congratulated the appointees, including 3 females and 11 males for Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, 6 for Seema Shastra Bal, 2 for Border Security Force and as many for Assam Rifles.

Sikkim Minister for Health MK Sharma was also present to mark the occasion.

Sharma lauded the youths for opting jobs for safeguarding the country’s borders.
