UP govt transfers 8 IAS officers, including 5 DMs

Lucknow: In a reshuffle the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 8 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including five District Magistrates (DMs), and given additional charge to two others, an official spokesman said here on Saturday.

The spokesman said that DM Maharajganj Satyendra Kumar has been transferred to Barabanki in the same capacity and Municipal Commissioner Mathura Vrindavan Anunaya Jha has been posted in his place.

DM Barabanki Avinash Kumar has been transferred as DM Jhansi in place of Ravindra Kumar-II, who has been shifted to BAreilly in the same capacity. Mission Director UP State Rural Livelihood Mission C Indumati has been posted as DM Fatehpur.

Special Secretary Food and Civil Supplies department Krittika Jyotsana has been posted as DM Sultanpur. Special Secretary Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) Branch Bal Krishna Tripathi has been posted as in-charge commissioner of Chitrakoot Dham division.

Principal Secretary Vocational Education and Skill Development departments DR MKS Sundaram has been transferred to the Basic Education department in the same capacity. Principal Secretary Technical Education M Devraj has been given additional charge of Vocational Education and Skill Development departments.

Principal Secretary Medical, Health and Family Welfare Parth Sarathi Sen Sharma has been given additional charge of the Medical Education department.
