Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday asserted that the opposition parties will work together to reduce the BJP to “zero” in next year’s Lok Sabha polls.

“BJP has become a big hero. We will have to reduce them to zero…. We are all together,” asserted Banerjee while speaking to media after holding talks with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejaswi Yadav at the state secretariat Nabanna.

Accusing the BJP of resorting to “lies and goondagardi (criminal activities),”, Banerjee said, ” We all will collectively work together. ”

Banerjee further stated, ” If the thought, vision, and mission are clear, there will be no issues. ”

Averring that the three leaders had a “very positive discussion”, Kumar said they will make all preparations ahead of the coming elections.

“The present dispensation has nothing to do but their own publicity. Nothing is being executed for the nation’s development, ” he added.
