White House has begun planning Biden-Xi meeting for Nov in San Francisco

Washington: The White House has begun making plans for a November meeting in San Francisco between US President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, The Washington Post reported, citing senior administration officials.

“We’re beginning the process [of planning a meeting],” a Biden administration is quoted as saying in the report.

If it takes place, it will be the first time the two leaders meet since last November, the report added.
