Washington: US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is invited back to the White House following a US-Ukraine meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

“Sure, absolutely,” Trump told reporters when asked if Zelenskyy is invited back to the White House.

On Tuesday, senior officials from the United States and Ukraine convened in Jeddah to address various topics, including a deal on rare earth minerals and potential pathways to peace in the ongoing conflict with Russia.

After the discussions, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that Ukraine has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire to initiate broader peace talks.
