Regular service of Vande Bharat Exp from Una begins

Una (HP): Regular service of semi-high-speed, intercity Vande Bharat Express between Amb-Andaura in Himachal Pradesh and New Delhi started Wednesday.

Earlier, 22447 Vande Bharat Express reached Una railway station with a delay of 13 minutes from New Delhi.

The timing of Vande Bharat to Una is 10.34 am. But this train reached here at 10.47 am, after a halt of two minutes, it left for Amb-Andaura at 10.49 am.

The new train left for New Delhi from Amb-Andaura at 1 pm.

This train will halt for 2 minutes at Una, Anandpur Sahib and Ambala Cantt.

Vande Bharat will have a 5-minute halt in Chandigarh. Amb-Andaura to 22448 Vande Bharat Express will stop at Nangal Dam for 10 minutes.

Passengers who came to Una shared the moments of their journey in this electric multiple unit train.

Kaulan Devi of Una who took the Vande Bharat from New Delhi, said that it was a thrilling experience to travel in this train and to reach the destination ahead of other trains.

Ramesh Kumar of Hamirpur said that he had a memorable experience travelling in this high speed train. He thanked the Prime Minister for flagging off the train.

A spokesman of the Railways said that as many as 71 passengers left for New Delhi in 22448 Vande Bharat Express from Amb-Andaura.

On Wednesday, a total of 183 passengers made their reservations from Amb Andaura, Una and Anandpur Sahib. It has 140 chair cars and 43 executive classes.
