Govt working on Kokan, tourism development: CM Shinde

Kolhapur, Ratnagiri: State chief minister Eknath Shinde has said that the state government has working on outlay of Kokan development and tourism development which to be impel to employment.

Talking with reporters this evening in Ratnagiri, Shinde, who on a brief visit to Khed in Ratnagiri district today, said that the state government was working in outlay of Kokan development and tourism development, which would impel for employment in Kokan areas. The government would also take a decision on controvisal refinery project as per wish of peoples from Kokan areas as present government was of peoples side and working for them.

Shinde said that the works of DPR began of Panvel-Sindhudurg highway and actual work of the highway would began shortly in the medium of MSRDC.

He said that the state government was also trying how the divert rivers water, which mixed in Ratnagiri sea, which would benefit for more agriculture land came under irrigation.

On explosion in Lote MIDC area in which five labourers singe on November 13, Shinde said that with taking seriously this incident, he already talked with industry minister Uday Samant and discuss the incident. He also directed to concern department to check fire audit , building audit and would take precautions in future to avoid such incident.
