Not only is political instability and extremism at its peak in Pakistan, it is also the worst country in the world as far as mob killings are concerned because the danger of the same are highest there. Such crimes are being committed in the name of blasphemy by the terrorist organizations. As per a report issued by Early Warning Project, this danger is also persistent because of the presence of terrorist organizations which are associated with the Taliban. Pakistan’s neighbour and Taliban controlled Afghanistan is at the 7th spot in this list.

In Afghanistan as well, after the control of Taliban, murders are taking place in mosques and other public places, and targeted killings have increased, but the cases of lynchings are lesser in comparison to Pakistan. In its report, research organization Early Warning Project has stated that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), ISIS, and local groups are behind the increasing mob violence in Pakistan. In the wake of all this, security challenges are at their peak in many aspects.

The report further suggests that the IS has constantly been giving threats of attacks under the garb of blasphemy, and therefore, the cases of religious minorities being attacked on a large scale by mobs are the highest in Pakistan.

Joe Biden, President of the USA, has already called Pakistan the most dangerous country in the world, and had added that the country has nuclear weapons without any monitoring. Currently, China has 320 and Pakistan has 160 nuclear weapons.
