Every Indian citizen should strengthen democracy: Bhumre

Aurangabad: Guardian Minister and Employment Guarantee and Horticulture Minister Sandipan Bhumre on Thursday appealed to everyone as Indian citizens to strengthen democracy and keep it intact by keeping in mind the values ​​of freedom, equality, fraternity and justice in our constitution.

On the occasion of the Republic Day of India, the Chief Government Flag was hoisted by Guardian Minister Sandipan Bhumre. The ceremony concluded at the ‘Devgiri’ ground of the Police Commissioner’s office.

The Guardian Minister in his greeting message said “our India is a great democratic nation.

It is a government run by the people, by the people, for the people. A country in which all the power is in the hands of the people is a republic. This right was granted on January 26, 1950 as per the Constitution of India. From that day the people’s rule started in our country. It is also promised in the constitution that a public welfare, welfare and secular government system will be implemented in India. India is seen as the largest sovereign democratic country in the world. On the occasion of this Republic Day, we appeal to all the citizens to forget all the discriminations of caste, religion, race, gender and remain in the forefront to provide equal opportunities to all with equality. If you and we all work together, we can make our country a powerful superpower along with raising the social standards of living,” he added.

In this program, the Police Officer who received the President’s Medal was honored by Guardian Minister Bhumre.

On this occasion, MP Imtiaz Jaleel, Leader of Opposition Ambadas Danve, MLA Sanjay Shirsath, Pradeep Jaiswal, Former MP Chandkant Khaire, Former Mayor Nandkumar Ghodele, Divisional Commissioner Sunil Kendrekar, Police Commissioner Dr. Nikhil Gupta, Collector Astik Kumar Pandey, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari, Joint Commissioner of Sales Tax G. Srikanth, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Vikas Meena along with all administrative officers, employees, citizens, students were present.

Reports from the rest of the district from the region also stated that,flag hoisting functions were held at respective headquarters .
