Modi can stay in Mumbai instead of Delhi: Raut

Mumbai: Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray group Rajya Sabha MP and spokesperson Sanjay Raut on Friday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he can stay in Mumbai instead of Delhi until the Mumbai Municipal Elections.

Interacting with the mediapersons Mr Raut said , Mr Modi is coming to Mumbai today to flag off Vande Bharat trains. This is Modi’s second visit to Mumbai in the last 21 days. Since Modi’s visit is on the eve of municipal elections and said until the Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections are held.

Until the date of Mumbai Municipal Corporation is fixed, Mr Modi may stay in Mumbai from Delhi. They can take a house in Mumbai or stay in the Raj Bhavan. Because the people of BJP and Shinde group in this Mumbai Maharashtra are not capable to win the municipal corporation.

Mr Raut criticized Modi’s address is being thrown as it is sure that Shiv Sena will win the Municipal Corporation even if Modi comes and the entire country is affected.

He further said ,” I don’t want to criticise Modi. While Parliament is in session in Delhi. Modi is coming to Mumbai surrounded by opposition over the Adani issue, on an important issue. Vande Bharat train is an excuse.Mr Modi himself wants to win the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. This is very important and said we are also preparing.

Mr Modi came to Mumbai also went to Karnataka. Modi frequently goes to places where elections are held. This means local BJP leaders are weak. Prime Minister of the country, but where is the focus on the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Modi’s frequent visits to Mumbai make it clear that all the BJP leaders and Shinde group leaders here have failed to challenge us. They are not capable. That is why they are calling Modi,added Mr Raut.
