Kolhapur, Ratnagiri: Vande Bharat express, a semi-highspeed express, Tuesday ran on Kokan railway line on a trial basis, which left at 0535hours in the early morning Tuesday from CSMT railway station of Mumbai which would reach Madgaon at 1430hours in the afternoon Tuesday.
After success of the trial, prime minister Narendra Modi would give green signal to this Vande Bharat express from CSMT Mumbai station soon.
Union railway state minister Raosaheb Danve had informed that a Germany made Tejas express had run on Kokan railway line for the first time and passengers were eagerly awaited of Indian made Vande Bharat express and after today’s trial base Vande Bharat express run on Kokan railway line successfully, Mr Modi would give green signal to this Vande Bharat express to Madgaon soon.
