Massive fire breaks out in Kolkata airport, leads to panic

A sudden and massive fire which broke out at West Bengal’s Kolkata’s Subhash Chandra Bose Internal Airport has resulted in panic among people there. A number of fire brigade vehicles have arrived at the spot after the firefighters received the information of the same. They are currently trying to extinguish the fire.

Till now, there is no report of any casualty because of the fire breaking out. The fire broke out at a check-in counter of the Kolkata Airport’s 3C departure terminal building. And when this happened, a large number of people were present there. After a lot of panic, all the travellers were made to go away from the fire, after which people started to film videos of the fire.

It is being said that this incident has taken place because of a short circuit, nevertheless, the actual reason has still not come to the fore, which will be found out after due investigation.

The incident can also lead to a number of other problems for the travellers as it is being said that some flights can depart late due to the same, but no information on the same has been shared by the airport yet.
