UP govt transfers 8 IPS officers

Lucknow: In a minor reshuffle the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 8 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Lucknow Nilabja Choudhury, an official spokesman said here on Monday.

The spokesman said that JPC Nilabja Chaudhary has been transferred to Kanpur Commissionerate in the same capacity and Additional Police Commissioner (ACP), Prayagraj Akash Kulhari has been appointed in his place.

APC (Law and Order) Gautam Buddha Nagar Commissionerate Ravi Shankar Chhabi has been transferred as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Public Complaint, DGP headquarters Lucknow.

Transfer of DIG State Special Investigation Team (SIT) Amit Verma as ACP Kanpur Nagar Commissionerate has been cancelled.

DIG Anti Corruption Organisation (ACO) Babloo Kumar has been transferred as ACP Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Pawan Kumar has been shifted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Prayagraj. SP (Administration) DGP headquarters Suneeti has been transferred as DCP Gautam Buddha Nagar.

SP DGP headquarters Shraddha Narendra Pandey has been transferred as DCP Prayagraj.
