Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP observed the birth anniversary of Deen Dayal at the party’s state headquarters here on Monday.

Telangana BJP State President and Union Minister G.Kishan Reddy garlanded the portrait of Deen Dayal and paid tribute to him. On the occasion, BJP leaders also planted saplings in the office.

Later, speaking to the media, Kishan Reddy said that the BJP was originally founded for the integrity of the country, known initially as the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, established by Shyam Prasad Mukherjee. He then praised Deen Dayal for transforming the Jana Sangh into the BJP and for his tireless dedication to the party. He emphasized that while some political parties formed alliances to come into power, Deen Dayal never compromised on his values.

Kishan Reddy highlighted that Deen Dayal introduced several significant changes and ushered in a new economic policy, diverging from the economic policies imposed during British rule.

He further noted that Deen Dayal initiated the Antyodaya scheme for the benefit of the underprivileged, and his untimely death remains shrouded in mystery. Kishan Reddy mentioned that Deen Dayal’s life ended tragically with his body found on a rail track. He emphasized that the Modi government is dedicated to realizing Deen Dayal’s vision, and the BJP continues to fight against corruption and dynastic politics.
