Telangana CM to meet 30,000 promoted teachers on Aug 2

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will meet with around 30,000 recently promoted teachers in the state on August 2.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari reviewed the arrangements for this meeting during a teleconference on Monday evening. The meeting is scheduled to be held at LB Stadium in Hyderabad on August 2 at 1400 hours, according to an official statement.

The Chief Secretary noted that a larger number of teachers in the state have been promoted than ever before and explained that the meeting was arranged on August 2 so that the Chief Minister could directly address all the promoted teachers.

Arrangements have been made to provide a rainproof tent facility for around 30,000 people at LB Stadium, as well as suitable parking and other facilities for teachers coming from different districts. Fresh water and sanitation facilities will also be arranged at the conference premises.

DGP Jitender, SC Development Department Principal Secretary Sridhar, Education Department Principal Secretary Burra Venkatesham, Roads and Buildings Department Secretary Harichandana, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Srinivas Reddy, GHMC Commissioner Amrapali, Information Department Special Commissioner Hanumantha Rao, and other officials participated in the review.
