Washington/New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo in Washington during which they discussed semiconductors, iCET, critical minerals and supply chain resiliency.
In a post on X, the EAM said:
“Great to see Commerce Secretary @SecRaimondo today in Washington DC.
“We discussed semiconductors, iCET, critical minerals, trusted partnerships and supply chain resiliency. Value the strides we are making in our tech collaboration and economic partnership.”
The EAM also said that he had concluded an extremely fruitful week at the UNGA, and recounted on X:

“Interactions with 75 Foreign Ministers and representatives.
“Participated in 8 plurilaterals – G20, G4, IBSA, BRICS, L-69 & C-10, India-CARICOM, India-CELAC, BIMSTEC.

“Delivered India’s statement at the 79th UNGA.
“Truly a Vishwabandhu Bharat, committed to reformed multilateralism.”
