Explosions heard in Damascus after strikes: state media

Damascus: Several explosions were heard in the Syrian capital Damascus early Thursday, which are believed to be caused by Israeli strikes on the city, according to Syrian state TV.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that the explosions occurred in the Kafr Sousa neighborhood of Damascus.

Further details on the extent of the damage or possible casualties have yet to be released.
