Florida: Former US President and presently Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Wednesday he would cast his ballot before the November 5 election day despite felling “mixed” about early voting.
“I’ll be voting early,” Trump told radio Fox News.
He said he used to have “the old standard” of voting on the election day, but admitted that early voting has been unprecedentedly popular among Republican voters this year and is “looking very, very strong.”
“The main thing to me is you’ve got to vote. You got to vote. Voting early, I guess, would be good,” Trump said.
A Rasmussen Reports poll found in early October that 58% of voters in the US planned to cast their ballots ahead of the Election Day.
