Make elaborate arrangements for Tiruchanur annul brahmotsavams from Nov 28: TTD EO

Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer J Syamala Rao has directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements to ensure against any inconvenience to the devotees coming for the annual Kartika Brahmotsavams of Goddess Padmavati Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanoor near here, which is scheduled from November 28 to December 4.

Reviewing the Brahmotsavam arrangements here on Monday, Rao instructed the officials of all the departments to keep the past experiences and work in coordination to organise the festival on the lines of Tirumala Srivari Brahmotsavams, sources said on Tuesday.

The EO directed the concerned officials to complete the engineering works like drinking water, rangolis, queue lines, and barricades at the earliest.

Among others, the electrical decorations in the temple and surrounding areas, the PA system and LED screens, the cultural, religious, and music programs under the auspices of the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad at the Mahathi Kalakshetra, Annamacharya Kalamandiram, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Shilparam, and Asthana Mandapam in Tirupati to attract the devotees.

He asked officials to prepare a list of dance troupes from other states performing in Vahan seva.

He suggested attractive flower decorations in the Friday Gardens along with continuous distribution of Annaprasadam on the day of Panchmi Theertham days as well as on Brahmotsavam days, and trained staff should be deployed in vahana sevas to monitor elephants, horses, and bulls.

The EO also ordered that sufficient temporary and mobile toilets should be set up to provide better sanitation.

Doctors and paramedical staff, along with ambulances and medicines, should be kept ready to provide medical services to the devotees.

TTD surveillance and security officials should coordinate with the local police and take up strong security arrangements.
