J&K: Security forces recover arms & narcotics near LoC in Kupwara

Srinagar: Security forces recovered arms, ammunition and narcotics near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu Kashmir’s Kupwara district, Army said on Wednesday.

The Army said the recovery was made along with the police in Amrohi, Tangdhar on Tuesday.

“On 17 Dec 2024, based on specific intelligence input, a Joint Search Operation was launched by #IndianArmy & @JmuKmrPolice in general area Amrohi, Tangdhar, Kupwara. During search, four Pistols, six Pistol Magazines, approx four Kgs of narcotics and other war-like stores have been recovered. #ChinarCorps remains steadfast in its commitment to keep Kashmir terror-free”, Srinagar based Chinar Corps said in a post on X.
