New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today met Princess Astrid of Belgium, who is leading an economic mission to India, and also held talks with the Belgium Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot.
The EAM expressed confidence that the visit of the Belgium delegation will foster greater collaborations. This will strengthen ties between India and Belgium, as well as with the European Union. Key areas of cooperation include trade, investment, and clean energy.
Oh his meeting with the Belgium Princess, he posted:
“Delighted to meet HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, leading an economic mission to India.
“Confident that her visit will foster greater collaborations for a stronger India – Belgium and India – EU partnership.”
On his bilateral talks with the Belgium DPM and FM, he wrote that the two sides held comprehensive discussions on advancing the bilateral partnership in trade, investment, clean energy, pharma, semiconductors, digital, and defence.
