The Government of Goa has taken an important step to make public services more accessible and transparent. Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant launched digital services developed by the Department of Printing and Stationery. The launch took place at the PAC Room in the Goa Legislative Assembly.

The newly introduced services include online publication of e-gazettes, access to e-copies of certified gazettes, a real time Inventory Management System, a digital library of pre-liberation books and publications, and a redesigned, disabled-friendly website. These services aim to make important government documents easily available to citizens, researchers, students, media, and government departments.

Speaking at the launch, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant said, ‘This is another step towards digitally connecting Goa with its people. Every Gazette holds important decisions made by the government, and now citizens can access them anytime, from anywhere. These services will make governance faster, transparent, and more people friendly, especially for those who had to depend on physical visits earlier.’

The launch event was attended by Minister of IT and Tourism, Rohan Khaunte; the Secretary of Printing and Stationery, and other dignitaries were also present.
