Panjim: The Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar slammed Indian National Congress President Rahul Gandhi in a letter for misusing the courtesy visit to inquire about his health to play petty politics and spread lies over the Rafale deal.

In the letter, the ailing yet fighting Chief Minister stated,  ”I feel let down that you have used this visit for your petty political gains. In the 5 minutes you spent with me, neither did you mention anything about Rafale, now did we discuss anything related to it.’

He further added, “Paying courtesy visit and then stooping so low as to make a false statement for petty political gain has raised in my mind, questions about the sincerity and purpose of the visit in the first place.”

Parrikar further expressed disappointment in the behaviour in the Congress leader saying, “I am fighting a life-threatening illness. I want serve Goa and its people against any and all odds.”
