Wearing masks compulsory in all public places: Goa Govt

Panjim: In a bid to contain and fight the COVID-19 in the state, the government of Goa has issued an order making wearing of compulsory in all public places.

The order issued states, “All persons shall wear face makes compulsory in all public places, work places including on streets, hospitals, working sites.”

“Any person violating instruction shall be liable for penalty of Rs 100,” the order further informed.

Goa is currently COVID-19 free state.
