News of pride comes in as government’s Malleshwaram Boys’ high school Bengaluru got selected for the construction of 75 satellites by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). All these 75 satellites are planned to launch on the 75th anniversary of independent India.

On revealing the story behind massive success, the school Principal Ms. Leela GP points out the school’s high-tech Atal Tinkering Lab to be the reason for the success.

As per the reports, there are only persists three schools in Karnataka with such high-tech labs. Ms. Leela stated, “Many of our student’s projects were selected in Top 50 in the National competition of Science and as a work of appreciation by the Union government and Niti Ayog, the school was facilitated with the Atal Tinkering Lab. This lab isn’t only consumed by our native students; rather the students across the state can come and join the experiments. Problems persisted during the Covid times, however, now the students conduct their experiments effortlessly and teach their juniors as well.”

She further stated, “IT Company Dell even helps in the lab by providing us various soft-wares. Indian Technological Congress Association and ISRO are in constant touch with the school and its progressive approach. NGOs like Shikshana Foundation and C N Ashwath Narayan foundation helps in grooming the school as they even provided 1000 poor children with high-tech tabs.”

Naveen from Shikshana Foundation said, “We are planning to distribute high-end laptops to every fifth student. Many of our members even guide the students with their difficulties.”

Lab InCharge Maitra SP states, “One can come to our school and test the capabilities of our children, especially in coding. Our student’s coding talent matches up with high-profile engineers. A boy Amit from Jharkhand (included in the satellite project) lives in worsened conditions in his hometown yet has developed incredible coding skills attaining expertise. Similarly, another boy namely Shivkumar is working on a science project.”

Reports say the school authorities are deciding to let the girls come in and construct a coed school. The school will also let the girls from grades 8-10 be a prominent part of the satellite project of ISRO.
