La Paz: Bolivian President Luis Arce on Tuesday sworn in five new cabinet ministers and called for “commitment” and “transparency” in fulfilling their duties.

“We want to ask our ministers in office today for commitment to the Bolivian people, commitment to our social organizations, commitment to our process of change and our process of industrialization,” Arce said during the swearing-in ceremony at the government headquarters in the city of La Paz.

Arce said the cabinet reshuffle aims to strengthen and adjust the management of government as it tackles the country’s challenges.

He also stressed the need for his cabinet members to work in tandem with social organizations and in keeping with the goals of Bolivia’s process of change and industrialisation.
