New Delhi: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and senior party leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday urged people especially the youth to vote for Congress for it will “end dictatorship, oppression, unemployment and injustice” and change their destiny with the party’s five historical guarantees.

On his social media handle X, Kharge in a message to the people of the country said, “Before pressing the button on the EVM, we should remember that we have to vote against unemployment and inflation and not make a few capitalists richer. We have to vote to protect our fundamental rights, and not for those who snatch away our rights”.

He also urged the people to “Vote for justice and not for injustice and oppression and vote for democracy and not dictatorship”.

To the first time voters, the Rajya Sabha MP appealed to vote on the agenda of ‘Yuva Nyay, Nari Nyay, Kisan Nyay, Shramik Nyay and Bhagidari Nyay’ of the Congress.

“When you press the EVM button, the already unstable chair of dictatorship will suffer another jolt and democracy will gain more strength. The four phases have already shown that the dictator’s departure is certain,” Kharge said.

Meanwhile, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said, “Congress is giving you five historical guarantees that will change your destiny”.

He said that it was the resolve of the Congress to make dreams of the youth come true.
