Collins Aerospace wins $264mln US Air Force Reconnaissance Pod contract

Washington: Collins Aerospace has received a more than $264 million US Air Force contract for the DB-110 and MS-110 Reconnaissance Pod programme, the Department of Defence announced in a press release.

“Collins Aerospace …[of] Westford, Massachusetts has been awarded a $264,595,890 …contract … for the DB-110 and MS-110 Reconnaissance Pod programme,” the release said on Friday.

The programme will be executed in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces International Support Branch, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programme office, the Defence Department said.

“The contract will have a ceiling of $300 million,” the Defense Department said.

Sustainment services in support of the project will include hardware and software delivery, tech maintenance, and all depot-level repairs, the release added.
