Department of post launches ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign for I-Day 2023

Mumbai: The Department of Posts launched the annual ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign 2.0 for Independence Day, 2023, an official said here on Wednesday.

The initiative was started last year to mark the Amrit Mahotsav of India’s independence, which got a huge response from the people, said an official.

“Last year, DoP sold over 12 lakh Tricolours in the Maharashtra Circle, which includes Goa,” said an official, saying this year the sales will be even more robust.

For this, the government and DoP have called upon all citizens to participate in the campaign by hoisting the National Flag in their homes, offices, societies, etc.

The DoP will sell the National Flags to people at reasonable rates, starting at Rs 25.
