Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday addressed grievances of around 200 people at Janata Darshan, reassuring them of prompt resolution of all their issues.

The CM arrived in Gorakhpur on Tuesday to mark the completion of eight successful years of his government.

Interacting with the people gathered in front of Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan at Gorakhnath Temple, he said, “Do not worry. Every problem will be resolved. We are committed to ensuring effective solutions for all grievances.”

A significant number of women also attended the Janata Darshan. Yogi met the attendees, patiently heard their grievances, forwarded their applications to the officials concerned and directed them to ensure swift, transparent and effective resolutions.

He emphasised strict legal action against land grabbers and instructed that cases of persistent harassment be investigated thoroughly with accountability fixed. Many individuals sought financial assistance for medical treatment on which he assured them that insufficient funds would not hinder their care.

He directed the officials to expedite the hospital estimate process and forward it to the government, ensuring necessary funds from the CM’s discretionary fund.

Amidst the Janta Darshan, the CM displayed warmth towards children accompanying their families. He interacted with them, inquired about their studies and gifted them chocolates as a gesture of encouragement and affection.
