Gangster Atiq Ahmed, brother Ashraf Ahmed shot dead

Gangster turned politician Atiq Ahmed ad his brother, Ashraf Ahmed have been shot dead by unidentified people. As per reports, the Ahmed brothers were gunned down while they were being taken for medical treatment in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj. Videos and pictures of the handcuffed duo lying in a pool of blood are now doing the rounds, and a pistol can also be spotted near the dead bodies.

In another video, it can be seen that Atiq is being shot from close range, and 2-3 people can be seen firing at Atiq and Ashraf continuously. The duo was shot when they were talking to the media while being taken by the Uttar Pradesh police personnel for treatment. Atiq Ahmed was serving life imprisonment in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case.

Earlier on Saturday, 13th April, Atiq’s son, Asad Ahmed was encountered by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force in Jhansi, along with Ghulam, both of whom were wanted in the Umesh Pal murder case.
