Shimla: Four persons were killed and three others injured when a bus fell into a gorge in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh on Friday morning.

Superintendent of police, Shimla, Sanjeev Gandhi said the accident happened at Giltadi under Jubbal subdivision when the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus was going from Kudu to Giltadi.

The driver and the conductor were among the deceased.

Seven people were in the bus at the time of the accident, and three of them have been hospitalized with grievous injuries.

The bodies were being retrieved from the ill-fated bus and would be handed over after the postmortem, the SP added.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident
