Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed delight over Yadagirigutta Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy Temple bestowed with ‘Green Place of Worship’ (Adhyatmika Harita Punya Kshetram) award by the Indian Green Building Council for the years 2022 -2025.
He said that it is a pleasure to get this prestigious award for Yadagirigutta Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swami Punya Kshetra, which was prestigiously built by the Telangana Government.
The Chief Minister said that it is great esteem to the India’s cultural and spiritual heritage that the Telangana temples are receiving National and International awards in the self-rule.
KCR said that the award of ‘Spiritual Green Shrine’ to the Telangana temple, the renovation of Yadagirigutta, undertaken by the state government respecting the sentiments and religious traditions of the people, is a proof of the glory of renaissance of Indian spirituality.
An official release late last night said, the Chief Minister said that it is a big honour for the Telangana State Government that the ‘Indian Green Building Council’ appreciated the modernization work undertaken by the Telangana Government without distracting the sanctity and godliness of the Yadadri Temple.
Rao said that the deity of Yadadri Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy shrine has been restored in an ambitious manner to make it more accessible to the devotees.
On this occasion, he prayed the Lord Yadagiri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy shower blessings on the people so that the state of Telangana will prosper.
