Khelo India Winter Games: Success of previous editions transformed J&K into winter sports hub: LG

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said that successful conduct of previous editions of Kheo India Winter Games has transformed Jammu and Kashmir into winter sports hub.

Sinha was chairing a meeting to review the preparation for the upcoming Fourth Khelo India Winter Games to be held at Gulmarg from February 2.

“Success of previous editions of Khelo India Winter Games has transformed J&K into a winter sports hub,” said Sinha.

The Lieutenant Governor asked all stakeholders to complete works expeditiously through time-bound action plans for smooth conduct of games and to ensure the facilities meet the international standards.

He directed the concerned departments to work together to create memorable experience for athletes and winter sports enthusiasts.
