LeT associate arrested in Bandipora, 2 Chinese grenades recovered

Srinagar: Security forces arrested a militant associate of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, police said on Tuesday.

They said two Chinese grenades were also recovered from him.

The arrest of a LeT associate was made at Baharabad Hajin by joint forces of Bandipora Police, Army’s 13 Rashtriya Rifles and 45 Battalion CRPF, police said.

Police said a case was registered under Arms Act and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
