Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday said that the cabinet will be expanded in July.
Mr Fadnavis was on a visit to Gangapur in this district to inaugurate a developmental work.
Talking to newsmen at Chikalthana Airport here, he said that as there was many problems in the state and it has to be followed up by visiting New Delhi.
Mr Fadnavis commenting on the stalled cabinet expansion in the state said, the Cabinet will be expanded in the month of July.
The Senior BJP leader also said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will decide on the expansion of the Cabinet.
When asked whether the Union Cabinet will be expanded first or the state cabinet, he said that expansion of the cabinets at the centre and state is different.
However, Fadnavis said, he has no information about the expansion of Union Cabinet and was more interested on the state cabinet expansion.
Discussions are going on to drop some Ministers in the next Cabinet expansion, he added.
