Major fire at new OPD block of IGMC

Shimla: A major fire broke out in the new OPD block of Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital(IGMC) on Wednesday morning due to cylinder blast, state government official confirmed.

State Spokesperson of Disater Management Authority said that an incident of Hospital fire occurred at New OPD Building IGMC Shimla. Huge flame and clouds of smoke were visible on the top floor of the hospital.

Firefighting team has reached the

spot and the work of extinguishing the fire is going on. Detailed report is still awaited form the field.
