Manipur CM pays tribute to Netaji

Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh paid tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on Parakram Diwas.

N Biren said on a social network site, “Humble tributes to India’s great freedom fighter, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on the occasion of Parakram Diwas.”

He added, “The INA headquarters at Moirang in Bishnupur district, Manipur, where the INA unfurled the tricolor flag for the first time on April 14, 1944, was set up by Netaji himself. On his 126th birth anniversary, let us reaffirm our pledge to serve the nation and work for its progress and development.”
