Manipur Governor discusses NEP with VCs

Imphal: Manipur Governor, Lakshman Prasad Acharya, discussed the current status of the New Education Policy (NEP) in the state with the vice-chancellors (VCs) and Registrars of state and central universities at Raj Bhavan here on Saturday.

During the meeting, the Governor enquired about the issues about the strength of teaching and non-teaching staff and other developmental issues. The VCs presented the status of NEP implementation in the Universities to the Governor. Governor assured to extend support from Raj Bhavan.

Manipur University Vice-Chancellor, N. Lokendra Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University, and Manipur Technical University, H. Gyan Prakashand, Vice-Chancellor of Manipur University of Culture, Paonam Gunindro Singh were present in the meeting.
