Manipur police nab six militants of different insurgent groups

Imphal: Manipur Police arrested six militants belonging to different insurgent groups in three separate incidents on Wednesday.

In the first operation, police apprehended four active cadres of the Kangleipak Communist Party (People’s War Group) from Kameng Sabal under Lamsang Police Station, Imphal West.

In a separate operation, Manipur Police arrested an active cadre of KCP (City Meitei) from the Erumpal area of Kakching district.

Another cadre of the PREPAK (PRO) outfit was arrested from Singjamei Okram Leikai under the Singjamei Police Station, Imphal West.

Police said large numbers of arms and ammunition were recovered from them.
