Mann, Kejriwal condole death of 4 people in Pak shelling at Poonch gurdwara

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has condoled the death of four people in Pakistani shelling at Gurdwara Sahib in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir near the Line of Control.

Expressing his grief, Mann said that Bhai Amrik Singh, Amarjit Singh, Ranjit Singh and Ruby Kaur lost their lives in the shelling by Pakistani troops at the sacred place where prayers are held for the wellbeing of all.

Condemning the attack, he said innocent people were being targeted by Pakistan. Conveying condolences to the families of the victims, he said it was a painful moment for those who have lost their loved ones.

Meanwhile, AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal expressed his sorrow over the loss of lives following the Pakistani shelling. Kejriwal termed the attack as highly condemnable and shameful.

He paid homage to the victims and extended his condolences to their families.

On Tuesday night, heavy shelling by Pakistan near the LoC in the Poonch sector resulted in the death of 10 people, including a woman and two children. Around 45 others were injured.
