On Saturday, 13th May, the Congress emerged victorious in the Karnataka State Assembly elections with complete majority, which has resulted in a wave of celebration and happiness among Congress supporters and leaders. A similar celebration was seen more than 1000 KM away from the state won by the grand old party, in Rajasthan’s Ajmer city.

The Congress’ minority department’s rural district (Ajmer) head, Haji Muhammad Mehmood Khan, on Saturday, distributed 51 KGs of laddus among common people in Ajmer city’s Dargah area and celebrated the victory along with his karyakartas. Amidst the celebrations, Haji Muhammad Mehmood Khan said, “Congress’ victory in Karnataka is the victory of love over hatred, and now, all of us karyakartas will work hard to form our government in Rajasthan as well”.

It is to be noted that Rajasthan is currently ruled over by the Congress only, with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot being at the helm of affairs, and the next Rajasthan State Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in December, 2023.

This occasion of celebration in the Dargah area also saw the presence of Rajasthan Deshwali Samaj State President, Nur Bhai Deshwali; Syed Masood Chishti; Javed Bhai, Shabbir Bhai, Salim Bhai, Ghulam Hussain, Shabbir Ahmed, Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, Muhammad Abad, Muhammad Israr, Nadeem Khan, Qutbuddin Ahmed Khan, and Humayun Khan, who are senior Congress leaders.
