Mumbai: Polling for Lok Sabha in Maharashtra’s final phase will be held in all four constituencies of Mumbai Suburban District on May 20 when more than 74.48 lakh voters will cast their vote.
All the preparations for this poll have been completed by the district administration.
Around 74,48,383 voters will have the right to vote in the Mumbai suburban district, said District Collector and District Election Officer Rajendra Kshirsagar.
In his press statement issued on Thursday, he stated that, Mumbai Suburban district includes Mumbai North, Mumbai North West, Mumbai North East and Mumbai North Central Lok Sabha constituencies.
There are a total of 7,384 polling booths in Mumbai Suburban district in 26 assembly segments.
Training of officers and employees appointed at these polling stations has been completed under the guidance of Kshirsagar.
Out of 74,48,383 total voters, 40,02,749 are men, 34,44,819 women, and 815 are from the third gender.
